From 2003 to 2006, I followed the Editing/Continuity course at INSAS cinema school. During those three years, I learned the rules of editing, first on film then by doing non-linear editing, working on reports, short fiction films, and even a short animation movie.
During my last year, I got the opportunity to do a final internship at Mediadreams Productions agency, which allowed me to work on a documentary about the 40th career anniversary of French singer Mireille Mathieu.
Just after this project, I edited several episodes of a made for the intranet video magazine for the Axa Assurances Luxembourg Company, through the Tetris Communication Agency in Luxembourg.
In 2007, I started working as a freelance editor for the Belgian TV network rtbf, where I still work nowadays. I've edited numerous reports for different news programs, sports programs, and some daily shows such as "Au quotidien" and "On n'est pas des pigeons".
Between 2010 and 2012, I got the opportunity to work on several reports for the Belgian Army, as a freelance editor for Colorbars Facilities audiovisual production company.
In 2010, in order to diversify my skills within rtbf, I added a couple more strings to my bow. First, I was trained to broadcast a wide variety of programs. Then in 2011, I joined the mobile editing team.
In 2011, I was one of the founding members of the non-for-profit audiovisual production company Studio Eklipse asbl, for which I was one of the main administrators for two years.
But enough talking, it would just be best to check some examples of the video editing I did these past few years.
